I'm gonna be hanging out at BoneDaddy's tonight playing a little guitar and singing some songs, so come on down and have a drink or three and sing along.

Here's a couple nights to know about - I'll be there as a solo on Thursday night doing my usual musical silliness. Then on Friday I'll be part of an acoustic showcase that includes Bernie Lamb and Cricket & Ken, with a supporting cast that should make for a great musical evening! Come on down and have a few cold ones and enjoy some music you won't hear in the same place on the same night!

I'll be back at Ballymor Irish Pub tonight, outside on the patio, from 7 to 10. Come on down and sing along, enjoy some great food and a few libations in the cool of the evening.

I had a great time playing on the patio at Ballymoor last night! Really nice locals hanging out around two firepits, a few drinks and some good music...what could be better? I hope you can check this place out, and I hope you do it while I'm playing there next!

I'll be playing Friday, April 15, at Ballymoor Irish Pub on Spring Forest Rd. in north Raleigh from 7 to 10. This is a new place with two bars, a great menu and very nice bartenders. Please come out and support this new local pub!

Last night was the first night playing solo at BoneDaddy's Hideaway and I had a really great time! Good people, good bar and a good sound system make for a good time and I'll be there the 14th and 28th of April as well. Help make this a regular gig by coming out and joining in the party! Taylor will be doing another solo show at the Peak City Grill in Apex this Saturday night starting at 8:30! This is a very nice place with a full, elegant bar and incredible food. Come early, eat some fine food and enjoy some great music.

What a day we had! Playing music on the patio with Joey and Victor, Eric behind the bar and the sun in the sky, it was just like Sundays are supposed to be at the Plank. Maggie sang a few songs for us before she leaves with her new hubby for Seattle and lots of the regulars came out for the party along with lots of new folks. I thank one and all for making it a great afternoon!

The Chargers are cooperating by playing their game on November 7 at 10 a.m., so we're going to kick it off at 2 p.m. at the Plank! Ultra talent Victor Gross is coming down with his mandolin and the incredible Joey Harris will be there with his trusty stratocaster and who knows who else will sit in!!!!???? More on calendar page!

I'll be heading back to SoCal and an afternoon at the Plank in Imperial Beach on November 7! Time and guest players to be determined, so stay tuned here and make plans to come down to the beach!

The Peak City Grill gig turned out to be really fun! Great room and great people - I can't wait to play here again! Stay tuned!

Raleigh, NC. I'm starting to get around and meet some of the local players and get a feel for the place. So far it's been very nice! The people are great and there's lots of music to listen to. The humiditiy is high and the 'skeeters are plentiful, but the scenery is beautiful! I hope to have more of a schedule soon, and so far I'll be playing at O'Malley's Irish Pub on Wednesday, September, 15. I'm looking forward to making some new friends and hearing from some old ones!

The last few months have seen me faced with some choices I never thought I'd have to make, but life is like that sometimes and I find myself making some huge changes. I'll be playing two more Sunday's, June 20th and 27th, at the Plank in Imperial Beach, and then I'll be leaving San Diego. I've loved being here and playing with all the great people I've gotten to play with and all the people I've gotten to play for. I've played this town from the dive bars to the big stages and I've loved every minute of it. My heartfelt thanks go out to all those who've lent their inspired talents to my songs, and special thanks go to Steve Langdon, Jeff Sers, Joey Harris, Jerry Raney and the late Buddy Blue. The music won't stop, but the venues will change. Stay tuned here for whatever comes next, and thanks for being part of what's happened so far.

After three months of hardship, Taylor finally went to a throat specialist for an examination. A growth was found and Taylor will undergo surgery to remove it tomorrow afternoon, after which he'll rehab his vocal chords for about 6 weeks. The show will go on, with Jeff Weiss picking up the slack until Taylor gets back. Please continue to show your support! We hope to see you soon!

It is with a heavy heart that we bid a fond farewell to Mike Chandler. "Mailman" Mike spent 5 years putting down a solid bass groove for the band but has now moved on for personal/family reasons. He leaves with our love, respect and full support. Thanks, Mike, for a job well done!

Enter Mike Callan! The "New" Mike is making a smooth transition into the band. He's played with plenty of San Diego bands over the years and has spent some time gigging with Artie, so we're expecting good things from him. Come on down to Don's on May 14/15 and say hello. Full steam ahead!

That's right, tomorrow the band loads up and heads back to Cheers! in Ramona! It's been a couple years since we've played this legendary bar and it'll be good to get back up there and play for the great people there. We hope to see some old friends and make some new ones. Many thanks to Sean for having us back and we hope to see you there!

Due to an unexpected turn of events, the THB will be at Don's Cocktail Lounge this weekend, February 19 & 20! The call came early today and we hope you can make it out to meet Victor and Artie. Info on the calendar page.

Well, Taylor, Mike, Vic and Arte came out of the studio and went up the hill to Ramona to play last Friday at the Par Lounge at San Vicente Resort and the results were exciting! The guys were tight and spirits were high and the music sounded great! The guys are now putting their energy into preparing for Don's on the 26 and 27th and they hope to see you there!

The trial and error process of finding the right combination of players has finally paid off! I believe the addition of Victor Gross on guitar and Artie "Time" McAvoy on drums will take the THB to the next level. These are both great players, and not just musical players. They are both great team players and I feel better about the future of the Taylor Harvey Band then I have in several years. I hope you'll come out to a gig soon and hear the difference these gentlemen are making in our sound and welcome them to the band. As you might expect, there's a lot of ground to cover here, so you might want to shoot us an Email with you favorite THB song so we can have it ready for you. I've got a real good feeling about the people playing this music now, and I hope they hang around for a while. No one feels the need to get back to the studio and recording more than I do, and I'm doing all I can to make that happen. Check back here in the coming days as we finalize a line-up and forge ahead and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.

The search for a lead guitar player goes on.

We'd like to introduce you to the new members of the THB! On drums is Ron Haslam. Ron is steady as can be and does his homework. He teaches drums and does studio work and there are a few bands that will be disappointed he joined up with us. Ronnie Tye is a lead guitarist with a signature sound that will make the new CD easy to listen to. You may have heard his last band, BubbaJam, around town playing their rockin' blues. We welcome these guys to the band and hope you'll welcome them at Don's on Thanksgiving weekend. You can also click on the Bio page for more info.

Well folks, all good things must come to an end and so must the days and nights of Tim Edwards playing lead guitar for the THB. After a seven year run as the band's original picker, Tim is moving on to play guitar for an up and coming country singer.
